Students under the age of 18
The minimum age for students joining Bell adult courses is 16. Students under the age of 18 are considered children by UK law and we require additional information and consent to be able to accept these students onto our adult courses.
Students aged 16 and 17 can only be enrolled onto our adult courses if we have received a fully completed registration form signed by a parent or guardian.
If a student is not staying in Bell-arranged accommodation, Bell must be given full contact details of where the student is staying. We accept no responsibility for accommodation not booked through us.
We strongly recommend that students aged 16 or 17 book the Bell taxi transfer service. If students choose not to do so, we cannot be held responsible for their safety.
Some airlines do not allow students under the age of 18 to travel without an adult. As airline policies regarding young travellers change frequently, the current guidelines must be checked before flights are booked.
Students aged 16 and 17 who arrange a holiday during their course must submit a Bell absences and holidays approval form, signed by their parent or guardian.
All 16 and 17 year olds will be subject to Bell rules and UK laws regarding age restrictions.
Travel insurance is included in the course fees* and a summary of cover will be sent to students with their booking confirmation.
*Please note: This excludes students who hold a UK passport and are residing in the UK.
If you are not satisfied with our service, please see the complaints procedure.
